Facebook is releasing a free service to help app publishers create customisable push campaigns with aims to increase retention rates. Targeting capabilities have been redesigned to make it easier to send out push notifications to certain audience groups faster. As well as using push notifications, app publishers will also be able send in-app notifications to alert users of special offers and new features.
